Fire Destroys Banky W Resident in Lekki

  

The house of popular Nigerian Singer, Banky W has been gutted by fire this morning.

A  source  said that the fire started around 6a.m and so many of his  neighbors came out to help put out the fire but it was beyond their control until the fire service came to the scene of the incident around 7:30.

And by the time they came, so many valuables were already destroyed including Banky’s award.

It was also learnt that the fire was caused by one of the faulty air-conditioner in the house which suddenly cut fire.

“The fire started around 6am and all of us came out to assist Banky in putting out the fire. However, Fire service officials arrived around 7.30. So many items were destroyed including Banky’s awards,” the source said.

Something needs to be done about fire service men coming late to an accident scene especially in a period of emergency. There should be prompt response and their turn around time must be quick so that the
